Bella did a blog about Bond, James Bond and I got to thinking there were lots of secret agents that I grew up with who I thought were much better secret agents than Bond...And they never got there just due......see if you remember any of these famous secret agents....
Remember this duo......boy did I have the "HOTS" for MS Peele !!!!!!!
Patrick Macnee and Diana Riggs as John Steed and Ms Peele in The Avengers
Can you name this secret agent ? he was slick....
Michael Caine as Harry Palmer in The Ipcress Files
This famous duo always cracked me up...they were two of the best of all times.
Spy vs Spy in Mad Magazine
Then there was this secret agent who had all the answers and the solutions.
Don Adams as Maxwell Smart in Get Smart
This secret agent twosome would take on anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Robert Vaughn and David McCallum as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin inthe Man from U.N.C.L.E.
This secret agent scared me as a kid.....but I loved to watch him to see if he could ever escape.
Patrick McGoohan as Number 6 in the village as The Prisoner.
But my favorite kick ass, take names, get out of anything, and always get the girls was this heroic secret agent duo.

James and Artemus were my favorites - bar none.
I would have given anything to tour the secret compartments
of the train car! I think they were the reason I fell for a cowboy
and still have a thing for secret passageways!
I head to the Safe House in Milwaukee once a year to
enjoy a trip through the entrance and the secret exit too.
Have a great evening TAB. Hey if you were a secret agent - what would your code name be?
Maxwell Smart was my favorite. I loved the satire on the secret agent genre. Agent 66 and Agent 99, the shoe phone, and "Sorry about that, Chief" all made for a lot of fun watching.
I would insist on the code name 0081.
(that would have been 0069 20 years ago but I guess you gotta figure in
for inflation)
I LOVED Get Smart and the Wild Wild West.
Thanks for the memories...
Sherry
